Follow the below steps for smooth combing of your hair.
Step 1: - Massage your hair with your fingers to get is ready
for combing and also
do the finger combing as well.
Step 2: - Apply evenly any products that can help you comb
smoothly e.g. leave-in conditioners, detanglers, hair oils (mixing oil with
water can be very good in moisturizing your hair) e.t.c. Spritz if you want.
Step 3: - Use your rat-tail comb or a tooth of your
wide-tooth comb to section your hair in 4 or more depending on your hair length
and thickness. Sectioning your hair makes it easier to comb.
Step 4: - Clip all the sections with your hair clips to
separate them.
Step 5: - Unclip one section of your hair, hold it with your
hand and leave some hair below your hand.
Step 6: - Comb gently the hair below your hand, comb it
thoroughly until it’s no resistance.
Step 7: - Then move your hand higher on that same section
you are combing, and comb gently the hair below your hand. Continue moving your
hand close to your scalp while you’re combing the hair below your hand until
you reached your scalp or top of the section.
Step 8: - After you have freely comb that section from the
root to the ends, clip it with your hair clip.
Step 9: - Repeat this to all your hair sections.
Step 10: - If your hair feel dry or its painful then
moisturizer it again.
Step 11: - Always comb your hair gently.
Step 12: - Comb your hair in the direction you want to style
it.
Step 13: - Use combs that don’t have sharp ends in order not
to hurt your scalp.
Step 14: - Use seamless combs to avoid snagging.
Step 15: - Use combs made from hard-plastics but still
smooth.
Step 16: - Wooden combs can be very nice to your hair.
Always keep it away from water and oil it every month with lanolin.
Step 17: - Use combs depending on your hair texture and
length to avoid breakages.
Step 18: - Don’t share your combs to avoid
dandruff.
Step 19: - Only use wide-toothed combs on wet
hair.
Step 20: - Combing create less stress to your
hair than brushing especially using the wide-toothed ones.
Step 21: - Detangling your hair or using a
detangling conditioner as you wash your hair will make combing easier.
Step 22: - Always use a clean comb to avoid putting
dirt in your hair.
Step 23: - Try to use your personal comb when in
a hair salon.
